CCS 1 - A Foundation Class
This class is designed to introduce a physiological and intuitive understanding of Craniosacral work with dogs. Craniosacral work is a holistic healing practice which uses extremely light finger pressure to optimize body movement. This workshop is conducted over four consecutive days. A genuine dog skull and detailed slides are used to help correlate anatomically the hands-on techniques taught throughout the course. A significant amount of time is devoted to practical work with dogs, so that students can develop the skills necessary for addressing each individual dog's needs.
Canine Craniosacral CCS 2 - The Evolution of the Canine "Unwinding"
This class focuses specifically on the diaphragms, pelvis, sacrum and occiput bone of the canine. Study includes discussion of how to address specific problems such as spinal injuries, sacral and hind end lameness, spay and neutering, pre- and post-surgery work, and others. We work with the cranial wave and tissue unwinding in the legs, neck, diaphragm, and cranial bones. Each day we review the anatomy as it pertains to the CranioSacral system of the canine. CCS2 also covers bone energetics, the cranial nerves and the membrane system.
